As Christmas Day approaches and we're running around like crazy trying to keep merchandise on the shelves for our holiday shoppers, we are already thinking ahead to early January and a couple events that are happening in the store that you should christen your new 2011 calendars with:

First up, we are honored to be hosting a book launch party and week-long exhibition of work from Christine Schmidt of Yellow Owl Workshop, whose upcoming book, Print Workshop, hits the shelves at the end of this year. Please join us on Friday, January 7th from 6-9pm to pick up a copy of the book, meet Chris, and see some of these incredible projects with your own eyes.

The following week, our gallery space will be filled with work from another of our favorite local artists and friends, Maria Forde. She will be exhibiting a series of drawings inspired by the Guinness Book of World Records, and is creating an exclusive print just for the show! The opening reception will be Friday, January 14th from 6-9pm. So many great ways to celebrate the New Year- we hope to see you there!
