The other day I accompanied Derek to a friend's backyard where he keeps his bees, and as he tended to his hive, I poked around smelling the roses, eating some blackberries, and taking in the incredible view. (These are some lucky bees!) Apparently they have been busy as ever this summer, and a honey harvest is right around the corner. We have also recently perfected our beeswax lip balm recipe, and will have tubes for sale at the shoppe very soon!
