We're very excited and honored to be included in the upcoming Summer Issue of beautiful, beautiful, beautiful Anthology magazine. Lauren and Arrow and I trekked out to China Camp State Park and spent an amazing day enjoying one of our favorite local open spaces. The über-talented Jen Siska took pictures and I wrote a story documenting our little adventure.
The lovely ladies of Anthology sent over an advanced copy, and I've included a couple images of the story (but not all of them!) to give you a little preview. You can check out the whole thing when the issue hits stores in a couple weeks. Speaking of which...The Curiosity Shoppe will now be one of the fine establishments where you can purchase this remarkable publication!
And I'd like to take this opportunity to quickly point out a couple important things that aren't in the story:
1. The tent we used is the BEST TENT EVER made locally by our friends over at Alite. We also have a pair of their UNREAL Sexy Hotness Sleeping Bags (which we wear around the house on a fairly regular basis).
2. The CHEESE in our awesome picnic spread was from our neighbors over at Mission Cheese, which you need to check out, if you haven't already.
3. MOST IMPORTANTLY *** CHINA CAMP STATE PARK IS GOING TO CLOSE, FOREVER *** As are about 70 other (!!!) amazing, irreplaceable parks across the State. This is an unbelievable tragedy and I urge everyone to LEARN MORE about the imminent loss of our most precious natural treasures.
